We are proud to announce the new campus of the Le Sallay Academy USA, based at Sargent Center in Hancock, New Hampshire.
Sargent Center is situated on 700 beautiful acres in the Monadnock Region of Southern New Hampshire, with hiking trails, a pond for fishing and swimming, an archery range, soccer, volleyball, and basketball courts, and a rope course. There, students will meet their peers and professors four times a year for three-week sessions.
Together, students will participate in various activities including regular classes, sports, and team-building events. They will live in comfortable cabins with shared bathroom facilities. Three hot meals with two snacks will be served at a dining hall, with outside seating, weather permitting.
Sargent Center has a 100-plus year history as an educational facility serving students of all ages. The center was founded in 1912 by Dr. Dudley Allen Sargent, a pioneer in physical education. Initially, the camp provided an extensive program of outdoor activities for girls during the summer months. In 1928, after becoming a part of Boston University, it was rebuilt into a site for innovative year-round educational programs. Currently, Sargent Center programming is administered by Nature's Classroom, an environmental education organization.
Located within just a two-hour drive from Boston, Massachusetts, Sargent Center features comfortable facilities and a beautiful natural setting ideal for fostering discovery and experiential learning, integral parts of Le Sallay’s philosophy.
