Le Sallay Academy is currently recruiting. Teachers at Le Sallay have the opportunity to design their own curriculum in collaboration with colleagues and to work with students who are eager to learn.

We welcome teachers who

  • enjoy working with talented middle-schoolers from a variety of backgrounds;
  • believe that personalized learning is the key to student engagement; and
  • value the flexibility that remote education affords while craving the relationship with students and colleagues that only in-person interaction can provide.

Instructors at Le Sallay typically teach four classes each quarter for a total of 16-20 hours a week. Each class is limited to 7 students. Because students come from multiple time zones, instructors should be prepared to teach from 8 am to 4 pm Eastern time during the school week. The four 3-week in-person sessions are a critical element of the educational program. Instructors must be available to participate fully in all of them.
